Please ensure a caregiver accompanies young children attending any of these programs. All programs are held in The Burrow, our children’s programming room at the Whistler Public Library.
This program gives children, parents and caregivers the opportunity to learn songs, rhymes and finger plays together. Movement is encouraged and your preschooler’s early language and literacy development is supported.This program meets every Tuesday at 11 am, and is an on-going, free program and registration is not required.
Parent-Infant Drop-In provides an opportunity to develop a supportive social network with other parents of young babies. This program meets every Thursday. It is an on-going, free program and registration is not required.
Books, songs and rhymes for children ages 18 months to 5 years, accompanied by a caregiver. This program meets every Friday. It is an on-going, free program and registration is not required.
This program gives parents and caregivers the opportunity to learn songs for soothing and entertaining baby while promoting language development. Bring your little one and let’s sing with the babies! For babies aged from 0 – walking on Saturdays at 11 am. Older children are encouraged to come to our Rhyme and Song program on Tuesdays at 11:00 am.
Come in and enjoy this parent-directed hour. We will have board games, materials for crafts, a story corner with felt stories and puppets. This is a drop-in program for families of all ages on Saturday from 3:30-4:30.
