Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder key worker works with children who have been exposed to alcohol or drugs before they were born or who have Complex Developmental Behavioral Condition. They key worker will assist the family to obtain a diagnosis and put together a plan for supporting the child, which includes adapting the child’s environment in response to the child’s needs and building on his or her strengths. The key worker also strives to educate the family and empower them to become their own best advocates. Community education is also available
