Strong Start Drop-in programs are for preschoolers, siblings and their parents/caregivers. The purpose of the Strong Start centers is to proved school-based, high quality, early learning programs for children younger than school age accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

The programs are designed to support the success of children before they are in kindergarten. This is a partnership between Sea to Sky Community Services and School District 48. Strong Start programs operate Monday – Friday 9:00am-12:00pm, and are closed on all school holidays. Strong Start is free of charge. Strong Start programs are currently located in Squamish and in Pemberton.

Parent-tot programs (Whistler) is a drop in for parents and preschoolers in a informal program that provides support, information, circle time activities, free play and a chance for families and children to meet each other. Also available : parent Resource Library, Toy Lending Library, Clothing Exchange and  Children’s Book Lending library.
